Should consulting resume bullets lead with the result or the action?

I'm putting together a first draft of my consulting resume before getting it reviewed. Right now I start each bullet with the result, then explain what I did to achieve it, because I figured recruiters would see the impact faster. For example, something like 'Reduced annual operating costs by $xx by...' or 'Avoided a $xx cost through...' Is it better to lead with the result, or should the action come first?

Personally, I don't like this formatting.

It should be what you did and then the impact…in most cases.

The honest answer is that it depends on the specific bullet point as well as the hollistic resume.

Honestly, hire a coach now! Any coach worth their salt will do an offline review for you prior to (and after) the coaching call itself.

Additionally, most coaches should have templates for you etc.

For example, the way I run the resume review is:

I send you my full applications course (includes resume, cover letter, and networking) - not only gives you a resume template, but talks you through how to do the bullet points right

You send me your resume offline and I do a offline review

We meet live

Final edits/review happens offline

No reason to wait :)
