How long can I think before answering a case question?
I have McKinsey interviews coming up and I'm unsure how much thinking time is acceptable after a question. One to two minutes feels reasonable for harder structuring or brainstorming questions, but at what point does the pause start to look too long?

So, ultimately you need to take the time you need to give a structured, objective-driven answer.1-2 minutes is a perfectly reasonable time. In general, you can have more time (3-4 minutes) for the framework.For brainstorming, if you are able to provide a strong structured answered right off the bat, then you can certainly do so!
