Are consulting exit opportunities much better after reaching manager?
How different are exit opportunities if I stay until manager or project leader versus leaving after the first promotion? I'm trying to understand whether another couple of years in consulting materially changes the quality or number of options.

I would say opportunities are shaped like an S curve.If you leave within a year, the opportunities are few. Stay 1.5-3 years (especially including with a promotion), you're flooded with opportunities.Increasing returns occur after 3+ years but at a diminishing rate of increase.
