5. Frameworking and Case Leadership

Frameworking And Case Leadership Course

Frameworks Don't Win Cases — Judgment Does

At the MBB level, candidates who get offers are not those who memorize the most frameworks. They're the ones who can construct a logical structure on the spot, adapt when the case takes an unexpected turn, and drive the conversation rather than just respond to it. This module develops exactly that — the ability to think in frameworks, not just recall them, across conventional, unconventional, and non-business prompts alike.

Structured Thinking Across Every Case Type

Starting from first principles — how to structure, how to be objective-driven, when to build top-down vs. bottom-up — the module works through the full range of case types with live frameworking exercises. Growth, profitability, and unconventional prompts are each covered across multiple exercises with full walkthroughs, giving you the repetitions needed to make strong structuring feel automatic. The World of Frameworks walkthrough alone is nearly 47 minutes of detailed, applied content.

Case Leadership

The final section addresses what elevates a technically competent candidate to one who gets the offer: leading the case. You'll learn how to drive structure, synthesize as you go, and close with a clear, confident recommendation — even under time pressure and incomplete information. Two extended exercises (Dinner and Korean OEM) put this into practice in realistic conditions, making the difference between candidates who follow a case and candidates who own it.
