Can a referral let you skip a consulting online assessment?

If I apply through a strong employee referral, is there any chance the firm will skip the online assessment stage, or should I assume the referral only helps me get through the initial application screen?

Ian’s Answer

No. Referrals do not give you preferential treatment of any sort in regards to your evaluation as a candidate (as in, once you have the foot in the door, you are evaluated the same as anyone else.
